I’ve learned I will never be able to please everyone. I will simply frustrate myself trying. So, I choose every day to be comfortable in my skin, with my choices, my words, and my actions.
I’m unafraid to speak my truth. The truth that may make people uncomfortable, but I refuse to shy away from it because my truth-telling brings freedom to others who fear they’re alone.
When people behave obscenely, it’s not about me, but it’s how they feel about themselves, not a reflection of me. Other people do not stress me because I don’t reside in their toxic way of thinking. I choose to abide in the freedom of the shame-free, victorious, fear-free life in Christ, removing toxic people from my life, and having no guilt about doing so.
